Trump Rules Out Running in 2028 if He Loses the Next U.S. Election
The Republican candidate expressed confidence in winning the upcoming November 5 election

Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for U.S. president, stated that if he loses the upcoming November election, he will not run again in 2028, according to an interview released on Sunday.

“No, I don’t see it (running again). I think that will be it. I can’t imagine it at all,” the 78-year-old former president responded when asked on the Full Measure program if he would consider running again.
Trump Confident of Winning the Election
However, Trump said he expects to be “successful” at the polls on November 5. The Republican is in a neck-and-neck race against Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, even in the key swing states where the election is likely to be decided.
The Democratic Party saw a resurgence in support after President Joe Biden, 81, withdrew from the race following a disastrous performance in a televised debate against Trump.

Trump lost to Biden in 2020 but refused to accept defeat, spreading the idea among his supporters that the election was "stolen" from him, along with various conspiracy theories.
