White House recognizes Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum’s work and her good relationship with President Donald Trump

In a press briefing, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt acknowledged that President Claudia Sheinbaum and President Donald Trump maintain a good relationship. She also stated that the Mexican leader has taken significant steps on issues such as security, migration, and drug trafficking.

“The relationship between President Sheinbaum and President Trump is quite good, and I believe both world leaders would say the same,” she said.

“The President has worked directly with President Sheinbaum on several issues, particularly when it comes to fighting Mexican drug cartels and addressing illegal migration, as well as human and drug trafficking across our southern border. She has taken meaningful action,” Leavitt emphasized.
