Mexicans have high expectations for Sheinbaum's government

With the strong backing of over 35 million 924 thousand votes from Mexicans and a qualified majority in the Union Congress enabling her to make constitutional changes, Mexico's first female president, Claudia Sheinbaum, begins her term with high public expectations.

According to a poll by QM Opinion Studies in partnership with Heraldo Media Group, Claudia Sheinbaum enjoys broad public support and inspires confidence for the upcoming six years.

64.1% expect "A Lot" from Sheinbaum's new Government

When asked, "Speaking of expectations in general, how much do you expect from the new government led by Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo?" 64.1% of respondents answered "a lot," 15.7% said "somewhat," 11.4% said "little," 4.4% said "nothing," and 4.4% said "don't know/didn't answer."
